WWASPS ACCOLADES

February 22, 2003 We want to thank you for all the opportunities you have opened up for not only our daughter, but also for both of us. We are now able to see a light-not at the “end” of the tunnel, because our light goes on and on! We have thru seminars found new direction in our individual lives, our life as a couple and as a family. We are looking forward to our new found lives with our daughter when she comes home instead of dreading it. We give great thanks to Brent H, ’s therapist, Sheri A her family rep for keeping us informed, in touch and showing no matter where is, she is loved and carried for. For all the unknown staff at Cross Creek that have watched over her, touched her life and helped her smile, we give great thanks. With Love & appreciation Jeanna &

February 22, 2003 To the wonderful staff at Cross Creek that have sacrificed and taken abuse from our family. I truly am grateful. Thank you for continuing to guide our daughter through her journey and challenging her to stand up for her greatness. Thank you for reminding us to continue on our journey. You are compassionate, independent, committed men and women of incredible power. Thanks for not reacting to our pig chatter that we allow to flow freely through the phone line. You have had an impact on our life, you have taken charge of our daughter so that we can work on ourselves so we can also stand in our greatness and bring our family back together and “be”. Keep up the great work. Ron: Keep me in line! Miss Mel: I though of you this weekend at Focus for your great Hugs and Love. Marjorie: Your phone calls with our family are strong and caring! I need your help to get through this! I feel my family will be better soon with this Great Team in Place!

Carolyn & Thane I am so grateful Christopher is being cared for by the two of you. I know it is no accident that he came to Cross Creek. You are truly angels and I admire the work that you do. If I hand picked a counselor and family representative it couldn’t have been better than the two of you. I know God put the two of you in my son’s life for a reason. In just four short months I have seen so much change in Christopher. It truly is miracle to me. I keep thinking, is this really happening? Is my nightmare coming to an end? I can’t think of anything worse than losing one of your children. Thank you so much for helping me save my son. I also want to thank you for encouraging me to participate in Discovery and Focus. It truly has been a life changing experience. It’s to bad my son had to misbehave in order for me to change my life. I feel so blessed to have had this opportunity in San Diego. I have learned so much about myself. I am committed to my program and Christopher’s program. Thank you so much for all your hard work. I really appreciate all you have done for me and my family. Thanks You Sincerely Wendi Watkins Alice Dear Carolyn & Thane I want to thank you for the dedicated work you are doing with Chris at Cross Creek. I can imagine that this is not an easy job, but I can only imagine how rewarding it is to see the transformation of young lives. I love Chris very much and pray daily for you and Chris. Keep up the excellent work. I know Chris is in good hands.

(Those are the names I know of your staff) Julia and I are completing Focus training today and we both are thanking you from the deepest part of our hearts for taking Laura our daughter into the program and helping her be safe. I pray that she will gain as much from Focus as we have. We look forward to having Laura home when is “Fully Baked”. I thank each and every person at the Cross Creek Programs for the effort and commitment they put in Laura’s and all of her friends each day. Dear Mary, During a troublesome time in our lives we were searching for answers to a serious problem. We were experiencing with our son Nicholas. It seemed that no matter what we did, his anger and attitude toward life and us in general worsened. After trying to work wit the public school system and searching other alternatives, we came across Spring Creek Lodge! This happened somewhat by accident but that is not important. The important thing is that he is there and getting the kind of attention he needs. Nick is a long way from where he needs to be but we are comforted by the fact that he is safe and can grow while dealing with his problems. Thankfully, Steve &

To All Staff at Spring Creek Lodge: Words cannot express my feelings for how enormous your job is and how well you perform it everyday. I could never thank you enough for how much it means to me that Alex is safe 24 hours a day. When I wake each morning, I think of her and where she is and I know I don’t need to worry how she is. She is fine and she is being loved and cared for by a very generous and loving staff. She has only been at Spring Creek for three months and we can already tell from her letters and from talking to her family rep.

Heather, that she is has progressed so far – much farther that I ever could have imagined at this point, and we have not even been able to talk to her yet. She is learning more about herself and about life and choices and the rewards and consequences of them. Though this program, my wife and I see that you don’t just send your child away and have someone fix them, we realize it is a total family commitment from all of us to have a whole and happy family. I know we will have that and that is what you are giving to us, and I could never thank you enough. Much love to you all at Spring Creek Lodge. Robert E.

Dear Facility Staff - I really want you to know how much I have appreciated your help in guiding my son, Nolan, and our family back on the path to life. Although my son did not complete the program, your patience, encouragement and flexibility did help him to make the powerful decision to stay longer than he even believed he would. He was able to accomplish the goals he set for himself and we were able to receive him home with gratefulness for how far he moved forward into his full self. Thank you for your support of me, for being available to answer any question I had, for allowing me all the time I needed with you and the staff when I came to visit the facility and for being flexible with our situation. If you didn’t love these kids and know that they are truly gems inside, I know this work wouldn’t be accomplished. Thank you for your tireless commitment, your service and sacrifice, your stretching and your hearts to reach that goal of a life full of joy for my son and our family. Gratefully,

Terrie

My son, Shane , has been at Spring Creek for nearly three months. He is just starting to break through, but thank God he is. I love his family rep. Craig T. He is always so upbeat on the phone. He lets me go on and on with my questions. He, I feel, he is being honest with me, yet encouraging. He helps me to see each side of an issue. I look forward to meeting him. Most everyone I’ve spoken to at the school has been helpful. I am currently trying to get something of importance accomplished in the academic department and feel like I was “brushed off” when I tried to speak with the person about it.

Dear Jon Riddle & Staff, Can I tell you how much I love to hear your voice once a week? Not only are you our lifeline to our son, who we love and miss terribly every, single day, but you are the soothing influence over my husband and myself. Encouraging, guiding, healing, calming words… It’s been two and half months now and finally our son is beginning to appreciate your presence in his life. Your calming influence, your experience, and your assistance to him has been immeasurable. And there have been others as well… teachers, Mr. Dial, Mr. Skip; Family Fathers – Mr. Bennet & Mr. Matthews; Troy, Justin, Shawn, Brad as Flexible Staff, who have won positive comments in his letter home to us. We appreciate you all. We all thank you for helping our son and our family grow to be whole again.

Dear Spring Creek Lodge, I want to express my gratitude for helping us in our time of need. When Tsedey was transported to Spring Creek Lodge, my wife and I were very thankful that she was removed from harms way. She has now been at Spring Creek for about six months and all though she has had and probably will continue to have her ups and downs, she has turned a new leaf. Her letters have taken on a positive tone and she is getting goals for her life. Thank you very much for restoring our faith. We have a ways to travel but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel getting brighter and brighter by the day thanks to you. And I know that light will be a full shiny day soon. This is to all the staff, administrators, owners of Spring Creek Lodge, as well as World Wide Association of Specialty Schools, to thank all of you for taking care of our precious daughter, and for keeping her accountable to herself and others. We’ve met several of you in person at the facility, and at Discovery and Focus Seminars, and enjoyed “picking your brains” for information about Rachel. Just to her about her smiling or interacting meant reams of enjoyment to us, since we only see a picture of her group on the website. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for taking care of her, and being there when we needed you. Dealing with WWASP and Spring Creek Lodge was very easy, with no pressure on your end. Again, thank you. Sincerely, Randy, An Open, Honest, Loving Man of God Diana, A Joyful, Beautiful,

Dear Spring Creek Lodge – I am a birth mom and I have entrusted my daughter to her mom and dad for all the years of her life. Now, they have entrusted her to you. Thank you so much for loving her and caring for her. You are helping to bring back her beautiful smile. Thanks to the program for providing an opportunity at the seminars for me to bond with my daughter’s parents. A place for us to laugh and cry together. A place for us to become friends.

Dear Liam, I am on my last day of Focus and I wanted you to know, I think of you all the time, but I have written you so seldom. I feel so proud of you and the progress you have made both personally and academically. I remember you as such a bright inquisitive and artistic child. Now you are a young adult that I would very mucn want to reintroduce myself to. (That was a poorly constructed sentence.) My feelings for you are of love and tremendous pride. Love,

Joanne

Dear Spring Creek Staff, Thank you from the bottom of my heart for choosing to make a difference in my child’s life! I could not bear the thought of burying my little girl. I am so grateful you are there, ready to help her back to the safe and healthy path. I can sleep better knowing she is safe and cared for, not laying in a ditch somewhere. May you walk in strength and peace. May you receive encouragement and love. May you take comfort in knowing I am so very grateful to you for stepping into the gap to care for my little girl. With All My Thanks,

Inga

Many things were achieved in Focus. Unity as a whole was reached along with integrity as individuals. On thing that I believe people should know is that, “One should do onto others as they would want them done to them.”

To Whom It May Concern: My perception of the Discovery and Focus seminars were that the world isn’t hopeless due to the intentions of the program. I have an extreme level of appreciation of those making these seminars and programs for our youth. I am twenty years of age and I have received the tools to create a better world. I am so optimistic for my future because of all of you. I appreciate your love, caring, and dedication to making a joyful world and life. I am honored that the staff has gone out and spread the joy that they found and possess in their lives. You have given me the gift of choice. I can honestly say that I can now handle choosing to do what I believe in and commit to. You are wonderful people. Thank you so much. Sincerely,

Crystal

Dear Staff at Spring Creek Lodge, Thank you deeply for watching over my daughter. For nourishing her with you love and support. Thank you for guiding her toward and along a path of health and happiness. I can’t express to you enough my gratitude for the service you are providing my daughter, my family, myself, and the world we live in. Your contributions are helping many families bring love and unity into their homes. You are helping to bring back the value of home and family into our modern American culture. Bless you each and every one of you. In my eyes, you are Gods and Goddesses – angels. You have treated my husband with care and compassion during this very painful time for us. Our family representative, Sheila Schroeder has seen the beauty and goodness within my daughter, and is standing by her side while she tackles her challenges. Thank you for pushing her to do her best. That thank you is extended to all the staff, since I acknowledge that it takes a team of angels – you – to bring her back to us with the skills to practice peaceful and joyful living. With Love,

Zoe

Dear Staff of Spring Creek Lodge, I’m writing to tell you all how much I appreciate the love and kindness you have for my daughter, and all the children at Spring Creek. I sent you a broken, wounded young lady. Your love and kindness is helping her to heal herself. You are there for her to help her along with this difficult task. Every day you give simple acts of unconditional love, over and over to the children in your care. Each time I believe a letter from daughter or talk with her on the phone, I read or hear the results of your love. You Are All Heroes! Thank you and Bless you all Love,

Duane

Dear Staff of Spring Creek Lodge, I immensely appreciate you for taking care of my child. I know that your jobs are very challenging in instructing her in her everyday activities. I think of it every day and how it impacts your heart. I know that you are using the tools of the program to get my child to “deal with her issues.” I know you are enforcing to her the importance of graduating the program. I know you will not give up. Keep up the good work.

Spring Creek Lodge Faculty & Staff, Now that I have been through Focus, I have a clearer understanding of what you are doing to help my granddaughter, Jennifer, become the woman I know she will grow up to be. Thank you for loving her, guiding and teaching her as well as keeping her safe till she is able to do that for herself. I know that your efforts will truly be rewarded with the future happiness my granddaughter will be able to have because of all of you there giving your total love and support. With Respect and Love,

To Spring Creek Staff and Faculty of the Seminars, We appreciate everything you are doing for my daughter and the parents, not just us but all parents. You have enriched our lives and have helped us to a better understanding of ourselves. Not only have you been helping my daughter, Whitney, have helped us. Please accept these two words that can never say enough, “Thank You!” I would be the first to admit I felt you didn’t need to go to these seminars but I tell you what, I found out, I really did, because the seminars have dug up issues I never thought I had or should I say accepted or more importantly I didn’t want to acknowledge them. I cried when I realized these issues I had where the starting roots of my own daughter’s issues. And not I know what the meaning of that old saying – “the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree!” Now that we are all getting the help and true understanding of who we are so we can work out those issues instead of burying them we can grow and be one, whole, healthy, happy! Family. And as you can see I didn’t say again because there was none, we were only settling and that is the difference. I also have a 12-year-old son. He is very bright but he is showing signs of issues and I will be sending him to your summer youth camp that helps young teens through a little of all the seminars you have combined. I can’t wait to see the change in him. I love both my kids very much and to my daughter, Whitney I would like to say I love you so much and I am so proud of you for trying so hard there. You don’t have it easy there and you are doing your best. You are my magical child and you dance in my heart. Thank you everyone for taking care of all of us! Thanks Again,

Joanne

Words cannot express how much I appreciate all of you in the facilities, that day in and day out how much energy, time, and effort you spent with our kids. I thank God that there are people like you that have the patience care for these troublesome kids. A job that not every living soul has the personality to do the work that you all do. All of you are a blessing to a parent like me. I would be in such a predicament that I don’t know how to get out of. Once again, I wanted to let you all know how much of a blessing you all are to me in my life. Thank you so much, in behalf of all of us that have kids in the facility thank you and may the God Lord bless all of you. Lots of Respect,

Eddy

To Jon Riddle and the staff of Spring Creek: The purpose of this letter is to express my appreciation in your efforts at restoring the families of troubled youth to normalcy. Von, although my son, Lenny , is still struggling to embrace his program, your assurances leave no doubt that he will succeed if I remain committed to allowing the time for this to happen. I am sure that he will come home happy and full of a real zest for life. Sincerely,

Erin and I are both very grateful that you are there to help Kyle find a better direction in life. The path he was headed down was not good. He could easily have ended up there. I nearly did myself. Without your help, I do not know what we would have done. Kyle has an opportunity to make a life for himself doing anything he chooses to do. He is a bright and intelligent and creative your man with multiple talents. I pray his learning at Spring Creek will help him realize those talents and put them toward good creative use. Thank you very much again for being there and being committed to helping these kids.

To Everyone at Spring Creek Lodge: This letter is for those who work so hard to make a better life for Kyle. I will not go into why my son Kyle is at SCL. I don’t need to. I need to explain what has happened to me personally because of what you all have given to me. One: I love Kyle with my whole heart but now I know what a beautiful, magical child he is. He is a gift to me. Two: SCL has taught me that. The staff is tireless with their resolve to make Kyle see his potential as a great and wonderful man. Three: Before SCL, I felt hopeless in the actions and results in my relationships with Kyle and with everyone. Today I’m learning that I have the power to stop, look, listen, vote, and step left. I am discovering my greatness. Four: Kyle has a hard time following rules. He learned that from me. I have always hated rules. The staff at SCL taught me that to follow rules, I actually got more power. My self-esteem is through the roof. I see if I follow rules, I get more of what life offers. Kyle, heed the rules. Finally, I want to thank the staff for believing in me, in standing firm, in loving me when I felt unlovable. You are truly great people, gifts every one of you. I feel like the child and you are the collective parents who insist I work hard, encourage me to move forward, who won’t let me fall and who love me unconditionally. For that I have been transformed into a beautiful, wonderful woman who will never, never, never give up on myself and the people I love. Kyle, please don’t be a victim. Open your heart to the people at SCL. Start by following rules. The rewards are immense. The staff at SCL lives in excellence everyday. Mary T. – I can’t wait to meat you. You are on my hug list. Love to all, Erin O’
